Cleanser
Review: I cleansed my face twice before using this product, and it still manage to impress me with the amount of dirt that came off my face. This is the only product that has show me the real amount of dirt I have in my face. This cream is definitely a must have as a detoxifying massage cream. However, as a cleansing massage cream is not that effective. I wouldn't recommended if you want to use it to remove make-up. Review from TheBeautyBreakdown: youtu.be/PNPwh4HQdC4?t=1m13s

Today I visited Walmart to find the perfect gift for one of my friends for her birthday, I got her the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Twisted Tulip Liquid Lipstick, just in case you were wondering. Since the makeup section is right next to the skincare section, I could't resist to take a look at the American brands skincare products. I started scavenging for the cheapest products that nobody notices because they aren't from recognized brands or popular, and I found some interesting things. I got two cleansers from recognized brands, one from L'oréal Paris and the other one from Garnier Skinactive. However, I got two masks from a brand called Freeman Feeling Beautiful. One is a gel and scrub mask and the other one is an avocado and oatmeal clay mask. All the products target different skin types, contain different ingredients, have different amount of product, and are from different brands. The products picture, full name, price, size and skin type are the following: *The online and store prices may differ*
If you do the math, I spend a total of $18.41 for all the products, without considering taxes. *The four products described in this post were purchased with my own money and I don't receive any commission from Walmart or any of the brands mentioned. The links in this post are for your enjoyment, just in case you want to take check any of the products. Expect a first impression of these products in a couple of weeks. Also, I will give you a full review of each product once I finish them. Which product would you try? Have you try Freeman's products? Comment below! Today I finished the Elizabeth Arden Millenium Revitalizing Tonic. This toner contains 150ml of product and it's retailed for about $20. This is an old Elizabeth Arden toner, you can't even find it on their webpage or Amazon last time I checked, however, if you're interested in this product you can find it on Ebay. I only had the opportunity the try half of the bottle because it had another owner before me, but my "half" experience with this product was OK, I guess. I was expecting more from this toner because of the brand. Also, the amount of product is not much considering the price because I have bought toners of 250ml for less than $15. I will not be repurchasing this product, I think there're better toners in the skincare industry. What do you think about this product? Comment below! ToolBrand: Nooni Price: $3 Amount: 60 sheets How to use: After cleansing, apply toner to one of the sheets and wipe your face and neck. To use as a DIY mask, apply a generous amount of toner to the sheets. Leave on the trouble spots for 10-15 minutes. Review: This product is amazing, I've saved so much money on toner this past few months. These sheets don't absorb the product, it leaves it for your face. I will not be using cotton balls or pads for a while. Review from Chimes Ling: youtu.be/fi4AHDNWAtE My first experience with the Korean 10-step skincare routine was very confusing, I didn’t understand why there were so many products involved. I googled photos of Korean skincare products expecting to see one product per photo, like everything else in google, but instead I found myself seeing pictures with 10 items in a single image. I’m not going to lie; I didn’t have any idea of what half of those items were. I used to think that a daily skin care routine consisted in cleansing and applying moisturizer and nothing more. I was still confused with the idea of so many products on my skin, so I decided to look on Youtube. My first Korean skin care product review was a video of the Youtuber Fei, from her channel heyitsfeiii. After I watched the first video, I couldn’t stop. I think I watched half of her Korean skin care products reviews videos in just one day. I noticed she keep mentioning a name in almost all her videos… Memebox? I had no idea what she meant with that name, so I decided to just ignore it. However, one day out of nowhere I decided to search the name in google, what I found was a Korean skincare paradise. I’ve hit the jackpot, I found a web page that sells Korean skincare products at the lowest prices. I read more about Memebox and found that they have been in the market for a decent amount of time, so I thought I should give it a try. They were having a sale on sheet masks, so I said to myself: What the heck! Let’s try them. I was patient and waited for my package to arrive at the Post Office. After I pick it up, I decided to try one the same day. The first sheet mask I ever tried in my life was the Banobagi Vita Genic Relaxing Jelly Mask. There are no words to describe how soothing the mask felt on my skin. I quickly went to the Memebox page and started looking at the other products reviews. After reading dozens of reviews I realized how important all the products in the 10-step Korean skincare routine were, so I made a blind investment. On Black Friday I bought the SKINvincible Vault Box from Memebox, which was $150 and the #sheetfaced for 100 days Vault Box, which was $80. I have to admit, it was a hard hit for my bank account, but sometimes you have to throw yourself to new adventures and never look back. The SKINvincible Vault Box was huge and the #sheetfaced for 100 days Vault Box was both huge and heavy. First, I opened the SKINvincible Vault Box and I can’t describe the excitement I felt when I saw all those little wonders in the package. I started to take the products out one by one and to open each one along the way. Next, I opened the #sheetfaced for 100 days Vault Box. There were masks from different sizes and colors. I couldn’t believe the number of masks I was getting for such a “low” price. First thoughts? This is the best investment I’ve ever made in my life. I’m currently using most of the products I ordered in the Vaults and I’m happy to say that they have not disappointed me. After a month or so of using these products, my skin feels healthy, soft and smooth. I’m still exploring the 10-step Korean skincare routine, but I will continue to use more of these products and hopefully build a skin care routine that suits my skin. Tell me about your first experience with Korean Skincare products. Comment below! |
