Today I'm going to talk about an event that happened to me while in high school. When I was a senior, I went to a hotel were universities from all around the country participated to inform high school students the programs they offer. I visited many tables, but there was one that changed the way I see myself. In the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) table, there was a girl who was answering questions about their programs. By that time, I was thinking of studying medicine, so I ask her about their M.D program (they pay for your education). She looked at me and asked me if I was doing my Ph.D, and I answered: "No, I'm in my senior year of high school". She open her eyes widely and didn't say a word afterwards. She just pretended I wasn't there and didn't looked at me in the eye anymore, I could tell she felt ashamed. I knew I looked older, but I never though I looked THAT old. Trust me, since I entered high school I noticed that I had more wrinkles than a women in her 30's, especially under my eyes. However, I never though I looked that old. I didn't had any money at the time, because I didn't had a job. However, I started working in college and raised enough money to acquire skin care products to treat my aging skin. I started using the 10-step Korean skincare routine, and after only three months of trying this routine, I have notice less wrinkles under my eyes. Also, my skin is softer, cleaner, and healthier. Now, I do my skincare routine two times a day, and never forget to use moisturizer or eye cream. However, I tend to forget to use SPF, which is anti-aging, but I'm trying my best to keep up with the new trends and tips from Korean skincare brands, YouTubers, and Beauty bloggers. I will continue to use different skin care products until I find my holy grails, in order to create a skin care routine that's perfect for me and my necessities.
