My favorite step in my skincare routine is cleansing. As you may know, the Korean skincare routine includes double-cleansing, which means to use an oil-based cleanser first and then proceed to cleanse a second time with a water-based cleanser. However, my favorite cleansing step is the one that involves the water-based cleanser. I like to feel free of impurities and sweat, specially sweat. I personally don't use makeup at all, in fact, I don't remember the last time I wore makeup. I don't particularly enjoy cleansing with an oil-based cleanser because I live in a tropical and humid zone, and here you sweat every day of your life. Just to give you an idea of how serious the situation is, I'll like to let you know how the weather is feeling today. Note that this post was written on February, as you can see above, and all the photos I see on Instagram are photos of people playing in the snow. However, where I live it's sunny and hot, really hot outside. I walk about ten minutes yesterday with no shade whatsoever. When I finally arrived to my destination I realized I was sweating like a pig (not that I haven't notice) and was completely dehydrated. In fact, I had to stop in front of the door I was supposed to enter to catch my breath and drink water, and no I'm not overreacting. So now imagine what it is to arrive to your house all sweaty and knowing that the first step of your skincare routine is to use an oil-based cleanser, horrible I know. Some of you may ask, why do I use an oil-based cleanser if I don't wear makeup. Well, the answer is simple, oil repels oil. If I skip the oil-based cleanser and only use a water-based cleanser, all the oil and impurities won't be cleansed completely. In the end, I'll still have impurities and oil on my skin. In conclusion, always use an oil-based cleanser even if your skin is extremely oily. In addition, if I use the cleansers the right way, my skin feels refreshed and free of oil, sweat, dirt, and impurities. Here are the cleansers I use in my current skincare routine:
Which cleansers (oil and water-based) do you use in your skincare? Let me know in the comments :)

I recently discovered the cosmetic love store and I'm impress. They got me when the first thing I saw is that they offer International Free Shipping, which is awesome. Also, with every order they send you Free samples, which is awesome too! Wait, wait it doesn't end there, they also sell samples for very low prices. In addition, you can buy up to 20 samples of the same product for just $5. I was so amaze to see that they were selling Two Benton Honest Cleansing Foams, which contains 150ml of product each for just $11.45 when the original price for a single product is $11. If you do the math, you'll be paying $5.73 for each cleanser. If you're doubting whether is a good idea to buy this product let me tell you that I've using this cleanser for the past month and I absolutely love it. I personally like this product because it's gentle on the skin, it's easy to use, and it has little fragrance. This cleanser is for all skin types, I have combination skin so this is the perfect product for me. I use this cleanser in my morning and evening skin care routine after using an oil-based cleanser. While my skin is still damp I wet my hands and dispense a dime size amount of product in the palm of my hand. Then I rub my hands until the product transforms into a luxurious foam. Then I proceed to massage my skin using circular motions. The only thing bad I have to say about this product it's that it expires after one year and eight months after the manufacturer's date of issue. Have in mind that the usual cleanser expires three years after the manufacturer's date. However, it clearly says on the box that it expires six months after opening the product, which I think is a short amount of time. On the bright side, it contains 150ml of product when the usual cleanser carries 120ml. Also, it's called the Benton Honest Cleansing Foam because the product is free of harmful ingredients, like petroleum as it's raw material. Maybe this is the reason that the expiration date is shorter than other cleansers. Would you try this product? Comment below! Questions of interest:

Review: I cleansed my face twice before using this product, and it still manage to impress me with the amount of dirt that came off my face. This is the only product that has show me the real amount of dirt I have in my face. This cream is definitely a must have as a detoxifying massage cream. However, as a cleansing massage cream is not that effective. I wouldn't recommended if you want to use it to remove make-up. Review from TheBeautyBreakdown: youtu.be/PNPwh4HQdC4?t=1m13s Today I visited Walmart to find the perfect gift for one of my friends for her birthday, I got her the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Twisted Tulip Liquid Lipstick, just in case you were wondering. Since the makeup section is right next to the skincare section, I could't resist to take a look at the American brands skincare products. I started scavenging for the cheapest products that nobody notices because they aren't from recognized brands or popular, and I found some interesting things. I got two cleansers from recognized brands, one from L'oréal Paris and the other one from Garnier Skinactive. However, I got two masks from a brand called Freeman Feeling Beautiful. One is a gel and scrub mask and the other one is an avocado and oatmeal clay mask. All the products target different skin types, contain different ingredients, have different amount of product, and are from different brands. The products picture, full name, price, size and skin type are the following: *The online and store prices may differ*
If you do the math, I spend a total of $18.41 for all the products, without considering taxes. *The four products described in this post were purchased with my own money and I don't receive any commission from Walmart or any of the brands mentioned. The links in this post are for your enjoyment, just in case you want to take check any of the products. Expect a first impression of these products in a couple of weeks. Also, I will give you a full review of each product once I finish them. Which product would you try? Have you try Freeman's products? Comment below!
